The Reserve Bank of India (RBI), through its Press Release dated June 08, 2020 issued “Draft Framework for Securitisation of Standard Assets” and “Draft Comprehensive Framework for Sale of Loan Exposures” and has raised a few questions for discussion therein. The RBI has invited comments and suggestions from the industry by 30th June, 2020.

In this regard, Indian Securitisation Foundation (ISF), on behalf of the securitisation and structured finance industry in India, intends to submit a few comments on each of the above mentioned draft frameworks. ISF further proposes to organise an online panel discussion to discuss the suggestions collated from the industry and decide on the final set of representations to be made to the RBI.
