Vishes Kothari, Masters in Mathematics from Cambridge University, UK, is Director  of  Vinod Kothari Consultants. He brings quantitative and strategic inputs to our financial services consulting business. Vishes is engaged in analytical assignments such as securitisation cashflow modeling, stress testing, risk analysis of loan portfolos, etc. Vishes also advises on Fintech-enabled and non-traditional areas of financial services.

Vishes is the editor of Vinod Kothari Consultants’ Guide to Start-ups.

Prior to joining on full time basis at Vinod Kothari Consultants, Vishes was a  visiting faculty of Mathematics at Ashoka University.

Vishes has diversified interests and skill-sets. He is a Penguin author, and a book of Vijaydan Detha’s stories translated from Rajasthani was recently published under the title Timeless Tales of Marwar. Additionally, Vishes also writes on folk traditions [here, on Sahapedia], Rajasthani language [here, on Firstpost], etc.

Vishes has been winner of the India Habitat Young Visionary Award in year 2008.
