Background
As the securitization market in India is on a definitive upswing, it is time to recognize performance, innovation and service. Awards are not merely a sense of accomplishment – awards are to encourage players to move to better services and consistent performance. The awards will be given by the Indian Securitisation Foundation at the 6th Securitisation Summit 2017 on May 12, 2017 at World Trade Center, Cuffe Parade, Mumbai and may be handed over to the awardees during the Securitisation Summit.
Nominations

Category of Awards –
Innovative deal of the year
•This will recognize a marquee deal which shows innovation, either in terms of asset class, or in terms of potential investor, or the transaction structure
• Weightage will be given to the following
•Deal structure • Easiness of execution
•Innovation in the structure
•Major plus points of the structure
Arranger of the year
• This will include placement agencies that place securitization issuances, wholly or in part. Considering that the needs of smaller originators are distinct from those of the larger ones, we are thinking of splitting this into 2:
a) Large issuances – Rs 200 crores and more
b) Small issuances – Less than Rs 200 crore
• Weightage will be given to the following
• Current client base
• Number of years in the securitisation industry
• Total number of transactions handled during the year 2016-17
• Total value of the receivables placed during the year 2016-17
• Total value of the receivables placed by the company
• Number of employees in the company
Trustee of the year
Criteria for the award may include:
• Meticulousness • Promptness
• Systems and procedures to ensure regular surveillance
• Weightage will be given to the following:
• Current client base
• Number of years in the securitisation industry
• Total number of transactions during the year 2016-17
• Total value of the receivables handled during the year 2016-17
• Total value of the receivables currently under management
• Number of employees in the company
Law firm of the year
• Criteria for the award may include:
• Meticulousness
• Promptness, flexibility
• Ability to understand nuances of the transaction
• Weightage will be given to the following:
• Current client base
• Number of years in the securitisation industry
• Total number of transactions during the year 2016-17
• Type of transactions handled during the year
• Innovative structures handled, if any
• Number of employees in the company
Award Presentation
The awards honourees’ thus selected based on a process involving a combination of research, and experience of renowned jury panel will be declared on the occasion
