Accounting for Financial Instruments:
Complicated accounting standards on financial instruments – IAS 30, IAS 39, IFRS 7, IFRS 9, fair value computation hierarchy, etc., require combination of deep understanding of financial instruments and derivatives, and accounting standards. Housing Finance:
Vinod Kothari Consultants has been awarded a prestigious IFC contract for preparation and dissemination of a toolkit for housing finance. VK has provided expert advice to regulators and law-makers World-over. For example, the South African Revenue Service consulted VK for framing guidelines on taxation of securitization.
