Ms. Nitu Poddar

Ms Nitu Poddar holds a degree in Bachelor of Management (BBA) from Shree Agrasain College, Calcutta University, and is an Associate Member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI). She is a Senior Associate at M/s Vinod Kothari & Company, Practising Company Secretaries.

Her core area of practice is Companies Act, SEBI Regulations and corporate litigation. She is actively involved in advising several listed companies.

She has written articles which have been published by Taxmann in magazines viz. Corporate Professionals Today. Also, her write-ups on corporate law related topics have been featured on sites viz. Indiacorplaw,, moneylife.

She lectures at various chapters of Eastern and Northern Region of Institute of Company Secretaries of India and Institute of Chartered Accountant of India on various corporate law matters. She has also been a lecturer at the Insolvency Professional Agency of Institute of Cost Accountants of India (CMAI-IPA) and Indian Institute of Insolvency Professionals of ICAI (IIIPI). This apart, she has also been invited at various study circulars of Delhi and Kolkata like Delhi Study Circle of Insolvency Professionals, ACAE, VIPCA Study Circle etc.
