Webinars on FEMA (Non-Debt Instruments) Rules, 2019

covering the recent amendments rolled out by the Ministry of Finance.

The webinar will be hosted by our Senior Partner, Ms Vinita Nair Dedhia.

To be covered: basics concepts, shifting of power from RBI to Central Government, overview of provisions in relation to foreign investment and the recent restriction on foreign investment by countries sharing land border with India. What are the implications of the amendments in Reg 6 of Non-debt Instruments Rules? Will any fraction of equity acquired by, say, a China or Hong Kong entity require approval? What is a listed company having such investment makes a downstream investment in an unlisted company.
