Apart from usual classroom training in Kolkata, we are offering online tuitions. You can get coaching from your place, your home, on your computer. No need to travel or commute. Particularly useful for students in remote locations who do not have teachers.
We do not prepare you for exams - we prepare you for life. Exams come only as a side product. Don't worry - that does not mean you will not get good scores in your exams. We note that lot of people are cribbing about coaching having become too commercial and the charges being exorbitantly high for batch sizes running in hundreds. We are aware of this, and we have decided to keep our charges moderate. Besides, if some students say that they cannot afford the charges, we will surely consider substantial relaxations in appropriate cases.

Classes for Financial Reporting (online) are starting on 20th April, 2010. Classes are held on Tues & Thurs. We will have a limit of 30 participants, registration is on first-come-first-serve basis. Classes for Strategic Financial Management (online) are starting Friday, 16th April. The first lecture is FREE - students may try it and then register.

Why online coaching?

We would like to continue to extend our experiment with online tutorials, which, we think, provides lot of advantage over conventional classroom training. To mention a few:

Students located all over the country can be benefited. This is particularly advantageous for students in smaller places where proper faculties are not available.
You log into the training room with the convenience of your place. You are not wasting time commuting back and forth. Average time in reaching the tuition center and coming back, in most cities, would be 1 hour. You would rather save this time and put it to more productive use.
Online coaching can make use of technology - powepoint, Excel, application sharing and so on.
Online tests can be conducted - you may be asked to answer questions online which may automatically be evaluated and results may be displayed.

Faculties

The academic content of the tutorials has been designed and is regularly monitored by Vinod Kothari. Vinod Kothari is a reputed faculty on finance and company law. As a corporate trainer, Vinod Kothari has taught in 24 countries in all 6 continents of the world, and has written 6 books on finance. Vinod Kothari is also IIMC visiting faculty. Manoj Banthia is a reputed chartered accountant and company secretary. Manoj is a former chairman of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India, Eastern Region, and has been adviser to most leading corporates in Kolkata.

Payel Jain is a rankholder in CS finals. Several of Payel's articles have been published, including in Chartered Secretary.
