Ms. Nitu Poddar

Nitu Poddar is an Associate Member of ICSI and also holds a degree in Bachelor of Management (BBA) from Shree Agrasain College, Calcutta University.
She has been heading the Delhi team of Vinod Kothari and Company since 2018. Earlier she was a part of the Kolkata team since 2015 and was actively involved in corporate litigation and IBC matters. Since 2018, her core areas of practice have been Companies Act, SEBI Regulations and FEMA.
She has been awarded the “ICSI Best Secretarial Audit Report Award” in 2024 at ICSI National awards for Excellence in Corporate Governance – 2023 for the secretarial audit report issued to Vedanta Limited.
She has written articles which have been published by Taxmann, on sites viz. indiacorplaw, livelaw.in, moneylife. Her views on corporate law matters have also appeared on publications like Business Standard, Financial Express, Business Outlook.
She has lectured at various chapters of Eastern and Northern Region of ICSI and ICAI on various corporate law topics. She has also been a faculty at the Insolvency Professional Agency of Institute of Cost Accountants of India (CMAI-IPA) and Indian Institute of Insolvency Professionals of ICAI (IIIPI). This apart, she has also been invited to various study circles of Delhi and Kolkata like Delhi Study Circle of Insolvency Professionals, ACAE, VIPCA Study Circle etc.
