Liquidity facility - In context of asset-backed commercial paper, refers to the facility granted by a bank to meet the short-term funds requirement of a conduit when it is unable to roll over the paper so as to redeem maturing paper. Normally the facility is available only for non-defaulted receivables, or else such a facility will be treated as a credit substitute.
